Permanent Makeup has
been a gift from God for me. With the intensive training I had and with
the help of other experts in the industry, I have grown and become successful.
Looking back into 12 years I went through, it has not been easy and I
learned something new everyday. I love my job. The personal gratification
I received from my happy, satisfied clients was my greatest compensation
and that far out weighed monetary value. Helping others is such a fulfilling
experience. Most of my clients told me that Permanent Makeup is not just
a makeup, it’s a life style change. Feeling beautiful is an attitude,
when you feel good about yourself, you shine to the others. I’m
so fortunate to be in this business and be able to improve other person’s
life.
Two major qualities I consider vital to be a good permanent makeup artist
are experience and artistry. Not many people in the permanent cosmetic
business are gifted in making each of their job a piece of art. In permanent
makeup application, a beautiful job and a spoiled one is often just one
millimeter away. It takes the right color, right design and right touch
to yield that perfect result. My approach is to make you look better,
but not different, by defining and enhancing your NATURAL BEAUTY.
EXPERIENCE
Back in 1990, I was trained by Dr. Du, the top permanent
makeup surgeon in China. Permanent makeup was such a hot trend in Asian
countries at that time. Performing 8-10 procedures everyday laid a solid
technical foundation for my career. After immigrating to United States,
I continued my research in permanent cosmetics and received numerous advanced
trainings. It is this combination of Eastern and Western techniques that
makes my work superior to others. During my 12 years of specialized
service in permanent cosmetics, my clients have ranged from US
Congress women to housewives, and I have performed over 6000 procedures.
ARTISTRY
I’m a licensed cosmetologist and Advanced Permanent Makeup Artist.
I hold a B.A. degree . I consider permanent makeup my ultimate calling
to bring out the artistic, passionate and creative talents in myself.
Since childhood, I’ve received training in painting. For me, each
client is a live demonstration of my artistic work. I think consultation
is the key communication between technician and client. To make a satisfied
client, you need to know what they want and what they really need. When
client comes in for a consultation, I listen to them and work with them.
Based on their skin tone, facial bone structure , eye and hair color and
life style, I offer suggestions by showing them that finished look. It’s
upon both of our satisfaction we start our job.
